How does a solar shelter work?
The operation of a solar shelter is based on the use of photovoltaic panels to capture solar energy, while the attachment system and the removable anti-hail protection net ensure stability and crop protection.
This combination allows for the generation of clean and renewable electricity while providing protection against bad weather.
- Photovoltaic panels: Photovoltaic panels are composed of solar cells that contain semiconductors capable of converting sunlight into electricity. These panels are installed on the structure of the solar shelter, usually on a shade or pergola.
- Attachment system: The photovoltaic panels are fixed to the structure of the solar shelter using an attachment system. This system ensures that the panels are securely attached and well-positioned to maximize sun exposure.
- Removable protection nets: all our solar shelters are equipped with removable anti-hail protection nets on the roof and windbreak nets on the facade.
- Tensioner: Tensioners are used to keep the protection net in place and ensure adequate tension. They are attached to the corners of the net and fixed to the structure of the solar shelter. The tensioners keep the net taut and stable to ensure effective protection against hail.
