On November 30th 2020, the Technique Solaire Group officially announced the acquisition of a 1 MWp ground-mounted power plant project located in Sappemeer in the north of the Netherlands.

This project, for which the building permit was issued in October 2019, has a “SDE+” (Renewable Energy Production Incentive System) feed-in tariff guaranteed for 16 years.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2021 and commissioning in the spring of 2021.

We are pleased to acquire this project, and it is an important step for our subsidiary Technique Solaire Nederland. It is the foundation stone for our development in this country, where we aim to have 100 MWp of solar power plants in operation by the end of 2024.” says Dick Teunis, Director of the local subsidiary.

In parallel with this acquisition, we have just obtained 3 building permits for projects we have developed ourselves and which we are submitting at the current SDE++ session. We are also continuing to look for other projects to acquire in the Netherlands“, comments Guilhem de Tyssandier d’Escous, Head of International Development at Technique Solaire.
